Adult Cats
Liluvit Sabbatino of Cat Chaser (Male/Sire):
Liluvit Sabbatino of Cat Chaser came to me from a cattery in Znamenka (Ukrainian: Зна́м'янка), in the Kirovohrad Oblast of Ukraine, just weeks before the Russian invasion and start of the war.
Sabbatino's father was a Great International Champion with the World Cat Federation. His paternal grandfather was also a Great International Champion; his maternal grandfather, an International Champion; and his paternal grandmother, a Champion herself. His five-generation pedigree (listing 62 cat ancestors) boasts numerous other champions as well, from both his paternal and maternal bloodlines. For example, of Sabbatino's eight great-grandparents, five hold champion titles with the WCF.
Sabbatino is a black/silver classic tabby with a white locket, large green-gold eyes, a fluffy plume tail, and strikingly exotic lynx ear tips. Despite his massive size, he is a playful, cuddly "Gentle Giant" — one of the nicknames for Maine Coons for good reason. He's so big he prefers large dog toys to cat toys. At times, I swear he looks just like a big stuffed animal. But Sabbatino really doesn't like to be alone and will seek out the other cats, or me, with a plaintive cry for attention. When I stroke his plush ears, he will curl his right paw to let me know he's happy. His best trait, though, by far, is a purr that resembles a roaring snowblower!
Sabbatino holds "dual registration" with the World Cat Federation (WCF) and the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA).
ColdStreamLK Sonnet of Cat Chaser (Female/Dam or Queen):
ColdStreamLK Sonnet of Cat Chaser was one in a "super-litter" of 10 who came to me from a cattery in the tiny town of Enfield, in far northern Maine.
Sonnet is a blue classic tabby. She is fine-boned, with delicate features, and beautiful amber-colored eyes. Her muzzle is flecked with dark whisker dots that somehow make her look happy. She is a sweet, friendly cat who loves to play fetch with toy sponge balls, just like a dog. Often, she runs from room to room trilling her own special song. But Sonnet has a mischievous side too — and she can jump — and delights in getting on the kitchen counter and pushing things onto the floor. (I think she thinks it's funny.) At night, Sonnet likes to snuggle and knead her pink fleece blanket — a behavior known as "milk treading" or, more colorfully, "making biscuits." Her purrs are soft, like her.
Sonnet is registered with the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA).
